Tampa, FL (April 9, 2024) – Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners, LLC (“BKS Partners”) an indirect subsidiary of BRP Group, Inc. (“BRP Group”) (NASDAQ: BRP), an insurance brokerage and risk management firm headquartered in Tampa, FL, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jake Bowman to Partner.
Jake Bowman joined Baldwin Krystyn Sherman Partners (NASDAQ: BRP) in 2019 as an Employee Benefits Advisor and steadily advanced to Senior Advisor in early 2023 before his recent promotion to Partner. Recognized among the top 10% of his peers, Jake specializes in cultivating enduring partnerships with leading employers, devising cost-management strategies, and enhancing the employee experience. He orchestrates annual stewardship models, oversees renewal processes, and pioneers innovative benefit programs to streamline operations.
Jake’s professional journey began in 2014 when he relocated to Southwest Florida and joined Automatic Data Processing (NASDAQ: ADP), where he executed sales strategies, exceeded profit margins and fostered local relationships.
Before transitioning to the corporate world, Jake spent seven years in NCAA football coaching roles, including stints as an assistant coach, special teams coordinator, and recruiting coordinator at various institutions. Notably, he contributed to Randolph-Macon College and Wittenberg University’s football programs, with the latter finishing his tenure ranked #10 in the nation.
A native of Ohio, Jake graduated from Wittenberg University in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. During his time there, he was an NCAA Student-Athlete and a four-year member of the Football Program, achieving success as a starting Tight End on the 2006 NCAC conference championship team.
Outside of work, Jake is deeply engaged in community service, serving as Vice Chair for the Fort Myers YMCA Community Board since April 2021. He spearheads fundraising initiatives and chairs various committees, including River Nights and the annual community fund drive. Additionally, Jake volunteers as a youth sports coach and is active in his local church parish and his children’s schools, Saint Francis Xavier and Tanglewood Elementary.
Jake is also a Lee County Building Industry Association member and the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce. He collaborates with non-profit organizations such as New Horizons of SWFL and St. Matthew’s House to support their missions.
Jake and his wife, Erin, are proud parents to three daughters and a Great Dane named Bennie. Jake enjoys family activities, fitness, CrossFit, boating, fishing, and various outdoor pursuits in his leisure time.
