[Webinar] ADA 101: An Introduction to the Law and Practice of ADA Administration

The purpose of this educational program was to familiarize participants with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the employment requirements and provisions associated with it. It highlighted definitions of disability, major bodily functions, and major life activities, while emphasizing the confidential handling of requests for reasonable accommodations.

The program further illuminated documentation requirements for managing such requests and developed a clear understanding of the Federal enforcement of the ADA, including the appropriate process for responding to related complaints. This comprehensive program helped participants acquire essential skills to effectively tackle various scenarios related to disabilities, while also developing a robust understanding of the ADA.
