Update – OSHA Signals Intention to Delay Electronic Reporting

In a recent News You Can Use, we reported on the final rule requiring all electronic reporting forms to be submitted by July 1st, 2017. In a recent update, OSHA indicated it will not be ready to receive electronic workplace injury and illness reports by the established deadline. No new reporting deadline has been adopted yet.
